EVENTS: What’s new in Singapore?. The hype, frenzy, buzz and other things.

I thought i should start my hiatus from blogging with my recent online curious forays with all things local.

Local happenings that is.

Email inbox, Twitter, Facebook – Whatever social media/networking tools you can think of. The speed of spreading the word, and the pace of the changes in Singapore is definitely felt.

  • Apple – Microsoft
  • iPhone – Blackberry
  • RWS (Resorts World at Sentosa) – MBS (Marina Baysands)
  • iPad – iPed
  • Nando’s , Applebee’s, Mandarin Gallery you name it.

*Takes a deep breathe*

  • Orchard Ion, Central, 313@Somerset – anything else I missed out? (Perhaps.)

Enough news to distract and keep you glued to your smartphone and cyberworld. Probably fodder to fuel the boredom and/or conversational topics?. Publicity. Tsk..

Activities around the local vicinity to keep one busy too if you it.

I have begun to realize the joys of never ending To Dos in Singapore.

Here’s a list of my plans or go around it, I’ll choose 10 since it seems to be the norm:

Take a ride on the world’s tallest slide in an airport.
At 12 metres high, The Slide@T3 is the latest addition to Changi Airport’s facilities.

Fans of Changi get to enjoy ONE free ride

NANDO’s. If it’s too long a queue here in SG, why not spend a weekend in Johore Bahru? A day out of the usual, with good friends and an excuse for a small change of scenery. Yes?.
